At the top end of the table, Manchester City have well and truly blown it, beaten by a great Everton performance. It is safe to say, that even a slightly lacklustre Manchester United have wrapped up another title, well before the end of the season. The fight for the Champions League places hotted up with wins for Chelsea and Arsenal, but Tottenham falling at home to Fulham.

AN ALBERT PARK SURPRISE

The new F1 tm season opened with a surprise. There we were thinking would it be Vettel's Red Bull, or maybe an Alonso or Massa Ferarri. The Mclaren's never showed any promise. But the surprise package was Kimi Raikonnen's Lotus. A winner again in 2013 with a car and drive that looked superb. Is Kimi back to his masterful best? Welcome back Iceman!
